Hey, y’all! I’m about to check out on the Sephora website because the Sephora VIB Holiday Bonus sale just started today, and I thought I’d share what I’m snagging!! I usually wait until this time of year to stock up on all of my makeup because the deals are just so good with the holidays approaching, and there are some great holiday gift sets out right now.
Once everything comes in the mail I’ll def do a round up on my Insta stories of what I got and how it looks in person! π
Before I start, let me explain the sale. Anyone who is a Beauty Insider [you just have to create an account on Sephora] can shop the sale. There are tiers to their reward program that are Insider [anyone who is signed up] that get 10% off during this sale, VIB [spend $350 or more a year] who get 15% off during the sale, and Rouge [Spend $1000 or more a year] who get 20% off during the sale. As long as you’re signed in when you shop, you can use the code HOLIDAYSAVE during the sale, and it will automatically give you the corresponding discount to your tier level. The sale goes from Nov 7-11 [unless you’re Rouge then it started on the 1st], so there are only a few days to take advantage!
Sephora VIB Holiday Bonus Sale Picks
1.Charlotte Tillbury Pillow Talk Lip Set
I have been dying to try this lip combo out since so many people rave about it, and once I saw it in this set for such an awesome price I knew I had to! I’ll definitely show how these colors look on once I get them in my Insta stories!
2. The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer
Okay, this one is technically not included in the sale, but I’ve been wanting to try this brand out since all the hype about its release. Basically they’re a no frills skincare company. The labels are just the ingredients and its really well priced. This primer is under $5. I am almost out of my YSL Blur Primer, and I’ve heard this one boasted as a really good dupe for it. If it’s true, that would be amazing because the YSL primer is $50, where this one is $5. I really love my YSL primer though, so we’ll see if it can hold up under the scrutiny!
3. Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liner
I used to be the girl who swore she’d never buy anything but drugstore liquid liner because they always dry out so quick. I finally bit the bullet and invested in this liner, and now I’m hooked. It’s legit waterproof. I’ve worn it in the pool, I’ve worked out in it, I’ve cried in it, it’s been through it all. πI’ve had it for quite a while now, and it hasn’t dried out either because it’s a pen! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to drugstore now that I have this one.
4. Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil
I got a sample in a package a while back that had a cleansing oil in it, and I honestly didn’t realize how much makeup a makeup wipe leaves on your face until I used a cleansing oil. I haven’t tried this one, but it has great reviews! I’m hoping that starting to double cleanse by starting with a cleansing oil can help clear my skin up again. I’ll let y’all know how it goes when I get it!
5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Carli Bybel Palette
Okay, this one was more of a want than a need. πI have so many eyeshadow palettes it’s kind of insane, but the colors on this one are so pretty. Plus, I love ABH palettes. The quality of the shadows are always *chefs kiss*. A lot of the palettes I already have are mostly browns and neutrals, so I wanted something that a little bit more color in it to experiment with, but nothing too crazy lol. This palette is going to allow me to venture out of my usual colors with still being somewhat in my comfort zone.
6. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I’ll be honest, I’m being extra brave with this purchase. I’ve never used this foundation before and I’ve never been color matched for it either, but I’m buying it for the first time online π. I used their online shade finder and put in what color I wear in my It Cosmetics CC Cream [I wear medium], and it told me the shade in this foundation to get [I got porcelain]. It’s risky, but we’ll see! lol. I don’t have a store near me, so this was my only option. Anyways, this foundation has been raved about in so many places I knew I needed to try it. I’m really picky when it comes to foundation. I usually find one I love and use it for years, but I decided it’s time to branch out.
