Hey, y’all! So as you all know, I moved to Texas two months ago. As a California girl, the transition from dry heat to humid heat was one I had to get used to. In California, I bragged about not really needed deodorant and how I don’t sweat that much. HA. How the mighty have fallen. My boob sweat has boob sweat now.
So I’ve had to frantically find products to solve these problems, so I don’t smell like an old gym sock at all times. Y’all know how picky I am about products, and these have all been without a doubt live saving in this weather.
Top Beauty Products for Humidity
1.Kopari Deodorant
My friend told me about how amazing this stuff is before I moved, and that’s when I scoffed at her that I don’t really use deodorant. The south has humbled me in many ways, y’all. After moving, I immediately ordered some and never looked back. It smells amazing, lasts all day, it’s all natural, and it’s clear! I never have to worry about it transferring onto my clothes. It’s a bit pricey for deodorant, but so worth it!
2. Mega Babe Bust Dust
Remember that comment about my boob sweat having boob sweat? Yeah, well I went on a mission to find something to combat it that didn’t require slathering deodorant all over my body every day. This stuff is a powder that you put on and around your boobs that’s essentially like a lighter deodorant. I can barely feel it on me, and it stops the boob sweat. I feel as though this should be a necessity for every southern girl with a larger chest. It only took one time sweating through my t-shirt for this to become a staple for me.

3. Moroccanoil Treatment
I’ve been using this for years to add extra moisture to my hair, but just recently did I start using it to combat the humidity. My hair turns into a huge frizz ball in this weather, even if it’s been blow dried and styled. I like to put a very small dollop of this oil on my hair right before I leave the house. It helps fight the frizz and keep the humidity at bay. My hair still tends to curl up some, but it definitely helps!
4. Jockey Cooling Slipshorts
Ok. These I’ve used since before I moved, and have posted on my Insta stories so many times because I love them so much! I used to only wear dresses and skirts when I knew I wouldn’t be walking around a lot because of the chub rub. Even when I was thinner I had chub rub. I just have big thighs [not complaining, I love my thighs, it’s just the truth! lol]. These shorts changed the game for me! They’re so perfect under dresses to keep things from chafing. I wore a dress to Disneyland for an entire day [GASP], and was totally comfortable and had no issues… which for me, in the past, would’ve been unheard of!
5. Mac Fix+
I’ve talked about this product so much I feel like a broken record, but it is my holy grail. A few sprays on the face, and I’m good to go! Makeup lasts all day when I use this with a good primer. If it’s a full face day, I will put on up to four layers of Fix+ throughout my routine. For info on that, and how I apply it, check out this post.
Hope these products help you survive the rest of summer! How do you survive the southern humidity? Comment below!
