Hey, y’all! I’m back on here today to chat about my favorite travel makeup products that I take each time I travel! Whether it’s for work or for play, I feel like I’m always on the go! I went to Texas a few months ago and now I’ll be off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in a few weeks as well. Because I travel so much I like to keep a separate bag for travel makeup so I’m not constantly moving makeup around. When I travel I like to keep my bag light, and I don’t like to bring a lot of expensive makeup. I bring a few of my absolute must-haves, but the rest are mostly drugstore dupes.
9 Travel Makeup Must Haves
I’m obsessed with Morphe palettes. This is my second one and if you’re comparing cost and quality, that brand really can’t be beaten. I love this palette because of the beautiful dark shades for fall. I’ve been having so much fun playing with it! This palette is one of a set of 4 palettes that Jaclyn and Morphe released together recently. I told myself I was only going to get one but now I want them all!
I found this bronzer when I was looking for a dupe for my Hourglass bronzer that I love so much. I’m always scared something’s going to happen to it if I travel with it too much, and so I wanted one that wasn’t as costly to replace if broken. This color is super similar to that one! It doesn’t go on as dark with one swipe as the Hourglass one does, but with a couple extra strokes it gives the same look!
For this one, I wanted a dupe of my Becca Highlight in Opal to bring with me on trips. This one is a bit lighter than that one, but I still LOVE the color. It’s a really great color that would look good on almost anyone, and you can’t beat the price!
I use these brushes on an everyday basis, but I specifically bought a second set just for my travel bag. These brushes are reliable and super affordable! I’ve never had one bristle fall out of them. Just to keep my bag light, I use the sculpting brush for bronzer and highlight.
Y’all, this. stuff. is. magic!! This is one of my few expensive items I travel with because it really does do it all. It’s a full coverage CC cream, SPF 50, moisturizer, and it’s anti-aging. I bought this for travel, but I’ve started using it every day instead of my regular foundation too. It just works so well. They also have an illuminating version if you need a bit more glow to your skin.
I’ll be honest, I’ve been using liquid liner since I was in high school and with all the different ones I’ve tried, I’ve learned spending a lot of money on eyeliner is really silly. A lot of them dry out quickly, especially if you buy the pots of a liner. I’ve found that drugstore liners work just as well, and save so much money! I love this one because it stays all day and it has a super skinny applicator brush so you can apply it really precisely.
This is another one of my all time favorites that I can’t live without. It goes with me everywhere. This concealer is a holy grail. I love everything about it. It conceals dark circles, pimples, under eye bags, etc. It blends well and doesn’t move all day.
I snagged this one before my last trip in the travel size, and I love it! I also use the Loreal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara as well, and it’s a great dupe for this one. I love that it’s a thinner product so it’s not clumpy, but still gives a look of long and full lashes.
This one I got as a sample, and it was the perfect size for me to bring on vacation. I ended up loving it because of the SPF qualities! It kept my makeup in place, and halfway through the day, I’d spray my face again for an extra layer of sunscreen. It was perfect because I get the protection I want without messing up my makeup with a regular sunscreen.
