Hey, y’all! I’ve been wanting to share an updated makeup routine for a while and my go to look lately is one that would be so perfect for Valentine’s day! I love experimenting with new colors and shadows and this look was so fun to do!

Valentine’s Day Makeup Look Tutorial
Step 1: Prime
This first thing I always do is put primer on my skin. I just started using this one, and I love it! Plus, it’s only $5 so you really can’t beat that!
Step 2: Foundation
I always use this makeup sponge [don’t forget to get it damp before you use it] to apply my foundation. I recently bought this foundation in the shade Porcelain and it’s been my go to for my full glam makeup looks. It’s so weightless it feels like you’re not even wearing foundation.
Step 3: Concealer
I applied this concealer in shade Light Sand to my under eyes, along my jawline, and in the middle of my forehead [it’s an amazing concealer, but it is drying. If you have dry skin I suggest using a different one]. I then blend it all in with the same sponge I used for my foundation and then set it with this powder. This powder is super hydrating, so it balances out the dryness of the concealer.
While the powder is setting on my face, I do my eyebrows with this pencil in shade Midnight Brown. It’s the same pencil I’ve used since high school. I’ve tried other brow products, but always go back to the old fashioned pencil.
After this step, I do my first spray of setting spray all over my face. This is the key to getting the makeup to stay put all day. Multiple sprays throughout the makeup routine.
Step 4: Bronzer & Contour
Next, I use this bronzer on my cheeks and then I go up my face all the way to my cupids bow right next to my hairline. After this, I use this bronzing powder in shade Casino to contour under my cheeks and my nose. This powder is a little bit shiny which I love, but some like a more matte contour. I would use a different contour shade if you don’t like to add more shine to your skin.
After this step, we do another spritz of the setting spray all over the face.
Step 5: Eyes
First I started by putting this primer all over my lids. I used this palette for my eyes! It’s my new favorite. I love the unique colors in it and the pigmentation is so good.
Below I’ve listed the shade and where I put it.
All over: Bear
Crease and Outer V: Stev [also used to line my bottom lash line]
Middle: Aura
Then, I used this liquid liner on my lid.
Step 6: Lashes
For my lashes I used these lashes [AMAZING. As long as you trim them down to your correct eye size, I couldn’t even feel these when they were on] and this lash glue [My ride or die. Make sure you wait until the glue is tacky to put the lashes on your lid. That’s the easiest way to apply lashes with the least amount of headache].
I then used this mascara.
After the mascara is dry, I then spray my face one last time with setting spray.
Step 7: Lips
For lips I have been loving this lip liner in the shade Pillow Talk Original. I put it all over my lips, not just on the outside. Then I used this lipstick in the shade Pillow Talk. I’ve been wearing this combo constantly lately!
And voila! That’s my Valentine’s Day makeup. It takes me about a half an hour to apply it all.
